SlopWeaver takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the service.

1. Information Collected

Information is collected in the following ways:

Account InformationEmail address, name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
Integration DataWhen you connect third-party services (Slack, Gmail, Linear), SlopWeaver collects messages, tasks, and related metadata necessary to provide AI-powered suggestions. OAuth access tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage.
Usage DataInformation about how you use SlopWeaver, including which features you access, AI suggestion acceptance rates, and interaction patterns.
AI Training DataYour message history and writing style to personalize AI suggestions. This data is used exclusively to improve your individual experience and is never shared with other users.

2. How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used to:

  • Provide and improve SlopWeaver's AI-powered features
  • Generate personalized reply suggestions that match your writing style
  • Extract and prioritize action items from your messages
  • Surface relevant context from your past conversations
  • Maintain and improve the security and performance of the service
  • Communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • All data is stored in Supabase's secure PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest
  • OAuth tokens for third-party integrations are encrypted using AES-256 encryption
  • All data transmission uses TLS encryption
  • Access to your data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only
  • Regular security audits and monitoring are implemented

4. Third-Party Services

SlopWeaver uses the following third-party services to provide AI functionality:

Anthropic (Claude)Primary AI model for reply drafting, TODO extraction, and chat. Anthropic does not train models on data submitted via their API. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
OpenAI (Embeddings)Used for text embeddings to enable semantic search. OpenAI does not train models on data submitted via their API. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Supabase (Database and Authentication)Provides secure database hosting and user authentication. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

When you connect integrations (Slack, Gmail, Linear), those services' privacy policies also apply to data accessed through their APIs.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export: Download your data in a portable format
  • Disconnect Integrations: Revoke access to third-party services at any time

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account:

  • Personal information and messages are deleted within 30 days
  • OAuth tokens are immediately revoked and deleted
  • Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for service improvement
  • Backups containing your data are deleted within 90 days

7. Data Sharing

SlopWeaver does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

  • With your explicit consent
  • With service providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase) necessary to operate SlopWeaver
  • To comply with legal obligations or protect SlopWeaver's rights

AI models are never trained on your data and it's never used to benefit other users. Your writing style and message history are used exclusively for your personalized experience.

8. Children's Privacy

SlopWeaver is not intended for users under the age of 13. Personal information from children under 13 is not knowingly collected. If it becomes apparent that a child under 13 has provided personal information, steps will be taken to delete such information.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of material changes by email or through a notice on the service. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
